2月3日は旧正月立春の前日の節分の日にあたり、太宰府天満宮本殿において節分祭が行われます。
この後、天神ひろばにて「鬼は外,福は内」と唱えながら豆を撒き、邪気・邪霊を祓う豆まき神事があります。(午前・午後各1回)
『福まめ』を受けられ本年の福を授かってください。
Setsubun Festival is a Japanese traditional event to celebrate the coming of spring.
People throw roasted soybeans to get rid of bad luck and welcome good luck.
At Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, Setsubun Festival is held and Bean-scattering takes place once in the morning and the afternoon.
Try to catch the pack of beans thrown from Shrine priests and get good fortune.
