平安時代の宮中行事を再現する禊祓(みそぎはらえ)の神事です。
平安装束に身をつつんだ参宴者が、曲水の庭上流から流れてくる酒盃が自分の前を通りすぎる前に和歌を詠み、お酒を頂きます。
咲き誇る梅の木の下で行われる華やかな行事です。
12：00～ 参進行列（社務所～小鳥居小路～参道～仮殿）
13：00～ 曲水の宴（曲水の庭）
Waka poets dressed in colorful traditional costumes of the Heian period sit along a stream among plum trees.
They compose a poem before a sake cup floating down the stream reaches them.
