古来より鬼門封じのお社として国家的な祭祀が行われてきた宝満宮竈門神社では、心の邪気や疫病、天災などを祓い、福を呼び込む節分祭が昨年から始まり、今年も斎行されます。
御本殿での神事の後、境内特設舞台において豆まき神事が行われます。(午前・午後各1回)
また、竈門神社の豆まきは福豆だけではなく当たりチョコ(カカオ豆)や福銭が同封されたものがあり、当たりチョコを拾われた方には神縁品等が授与されます。

People throw roasted soybeans to get rid of bad luck and welcome good luck.
At Kamado Shrine, Setsubun Festival is held and Bean-scattering takes place once in the morning and the afternoon.
Try to catch the pack of beans thrown from Shrine priests and get good fortune.
