7日18：30より、皆さまのお願い事が天に届きますよう、太宰府天満宮 仮殿にて七夕祭が斎行されます。また1日から7日まで、太鼓橋渡って左手の木道を七夕飾りで彩ります。(期間中は19：00から21：00までライトアップが実施されます)
祭典中には「山鹿灯籠踊り」の奉納、祭典終了後には天神ひろばにて「山鹿灯籠踊り総踊り」が行われます。

Tanabata, also known as The Star Festival is held on July 7.
People write their wishes on colorful paper strips and hang them on bamboo branches, which is said to make wishes come true.
There is dancing performance around the illuminated Shin-ji ike pond.
